Throughout the conference, you can look forward to engaging presentations that will explore various approaches to mental health, focusing on building resilience in adolescents, understanding the impact of trauma on gene expression and brain function, and providing psychological support during sociopolitical stress. Discussions will address the implications of healthcare policy changes and strategies for promoting effective practices, as well as methods for conducting neurodiversity-affirming assessments for children. Best practices for evaluating neurocognitive decline in high-level professionals will also be covered, along with updates from the Virginia Board of Psychology on important licensure issues. In a time marked by uncertainty and discontent, the Fall 2025 conference aims to foster collaboration and dialogue among professionals, empowering them to embrace challenges and support their clients effectively. As we navigate this change and complexity, the conference serves as an important opportunity to enhance understanding, share best practices, and strengthen our collective commitment to supporting mental health in an evolving landscape. Together, these elements underscore the conference's crucial role in fostering resilience and informed care in today's world. Please join us in embracing this opportunity to learn, connect, and engage in meaningful discussions that will empower us to navigate the challenges of our current sociopolitical landscape together.
