The Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists (VACP) is having legislation introduced during the 2023 Virginia General Assembly to authorize clinicians to be paid for audio-only telehealth visits. To help advance the legislation we are asking that all members consider joining VACP on their legislative hill day on January 19^th from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Tentative Schedule of Events
7:30 am – 8:30 am          Gather for breakfast* and receive a legislative briefing from VACP Lobbyists (*location TBD)
8:30 am – 11:00 am        Visit with Legislators
11:00 am – 2:00 pm        Visit the Capital and be recognized from the floor of the House of Delegates
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm          Visit with Legislators
4:00 pm                           Departures 

VACP will provide all attendees with an overview of the legislation and talking points to leave with your legislator during the briefing. No previous knowledge or experience visiting with legislators is necessary to participate. VACP will cover the cost of your parking at this event.
