This year's theme, “The Role of Clinical Psychologists in the Future of Health Care,” promises to foster enriching discussions and provide valuable insights into our evolving field.  

We are honored to feature our keynote speaker, Dr. Beth Rom-Rymer, Ph.D., candidate for APA President-elect 2024. Her presentation, “The Revolution in Healthcare: How Prescribing Psychologists are Changing the Landscape of Mental Healthcare in the United States and Around the World,” will set a compelling tone for our conference.  

In addition to Dr. Rom-Rymer's keynote presentation, we have an engaging lineup of topics, including:

• Celebrating Gender Expansiveness: Taking Gender-Affirming Care Beyond Treatment of Gender Dysphoria
• The Unique Skill of Couples Therapy

• A Conversation Hour with the Virginia Board of Psychology to discuss potential changes impacting our field
