YOUR Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists has joined with APA and other Mid-Atlantic state psychological associations in sponsoring a unique summit on alternative practice models and integrated care.

Registration is now open for the May 20 Summit on Alternative Practice Models and Integrated Care in Washington, DC. This Summit brings together experts from around the country and region to provide valuable insight on starting, joining or participating in different psychology practice models.

Featured sessions include:

  • Working with Payers to Foster Better Care and Demonstrate the Value of Psychology
  • Risk Management and Legal Considerations in Integration
  • Alternative Practice Models
  • How Psychologists and Physicians Can Communicate and Collaborate More Effectively

Panelists include health care attorneys, health insurance executives and psychologists who are creating innovative practices.

The Summit will be held at the APA headquarters in Washington, DC and is hosted by the APA Practice Organization.

Discounted registration of $129 is available to Practice Organization members, VACP Members and members of the sponsoring state psychological associations. Registration for all other attendees is $199.

The APA Practice Organization and the District of Columbia Psychological Association are presenting the summit in collaboration with the Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists, Maryland Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, Delaware Psychological Association, West Virginia Psychological Association and New York State Psychological Association.
