Hall of Fame
Recipients are those few selected by the Foundation as a result of their exceptional (1) contributions in the field of psychology, (2) contributions to the Virginia Psychological Association and its growth and development including work to forward the VPA’s Academy structure, (3) lifetime achievements as a psychologist, (4) contributions in service to the community, the Commonwealth of Virginia, the profession or the nation, including legislative contributions, (5) demonstrated leadership in their specific field that contributes to the health of residents of the Commonwealth, (6) innovative application of psychological knowledge such that the quality of life of Virginia’s residents are enhanced, (7) contributions to the elevation of the status of psychology (in Virginia and the nation), (8) inspirations to others by example or evidence of mentoring, (9) contributions which increase the body of psychology knowledge, and contributions which enhance the quality of psychological service delivery.
